Saigon Pho, located in Brunswick, GA, is capturing the hearts of local food enthusiasts with its authentic Vietnamese flavors and genuine hospitality. Diners rave about the standout pho, with many noting the broth's unique richness and flavor profile. Jamie Walker appreciated the homemade quality, despite mentioning the broth's darker hue compared to traditional versions. Meanwhile, Laura Lee highlighted the freshness of their seafood pho, featuring impressively large shrimp.
Patrons often recommend the spring rolls, celebrated for their generous fillings and delightful crunch. Tim Murphy points out the difference in texture between Vietnamese and Chinese egg rolls, praising the clean and authentic taste of the former. While the restaurant may be small, with limited staff, the emphasis on freshness and careful preparation shines through. Bill Rose underscores that good things take time, with the wait for made-to-order dishes proving worthwhile.
Overall, Saigon Pho is a gem that promises a rewarding culinary experience. Whether you're a pho aficionado or new to Vietnamese cuisine, this restaurant is worth a visit to indulge in its vibrant flavors and warm atmosphere.

So I ordered special pho Large it was good. The broth is a little darker than what I'm used to but I've had it like this before and it was more oily . The owners I'm assuming the guy is pretty nice. I'm assuming it's his wife or something. She's okay. Nothing to complain about. People say that she seems to be angry. Well, I don't think she speaks English. Very good. Neither one of them does, but I enjoyed my conversation with him. I really do enjoy Asian food. The place look pretty clean. You can tell they refill bottles like you would see at a Chinese buffet . But The biggest thing I didn't like is the The chili oil container is pretty nasty looking. Did it stop me from using it? No it did not LOL. It's not bad. Stop by check it out get some pho but there is one other thing I seen on the menu that might be better is the udon. That's why they might do the broth the way they do. But I do believe the broth is homemade. For the most part. Oh and I did get the fresh spring rolls And they were damn good. Loaded down with meat And just like my pho So make sure you check this place out. You might like it. You might not but my recommendation is to check it out. We came out quick also but remember if they got a bunch of people here trying to eat. There's only two people working

I was recommended to try this restaurant by my cousin, and it delivered! Not much on foods outside my comfort zone, but this was absolutely the best experience ever. It was a 10 out of 10, will try again. Don't be in a rush, because it's all prepared to order, but so worth the wait!!!!

We were staying at a hotel in Brunswick after visiting Jekyll Island and looking for a place to eat. We love Vietnamese food so we took a chance on this place. Let me tell you about the experience. First off, I've eaten Vietnamese food all over the US, from San Francisco, Dallas, Tampa, Washington DC, NYC, and Boston, and I can honestly say the small place in Brunswick beats them all. I'm not exaggerating. This food is made with care and pride. You have to be patient. There's one guy running the place and cooking so don't expect to get your food in 5 minutes. I think we waited for about 10 minutes before he brought out the shrimp egg rolls and then at least 10 minutes after when he brought us our Bun. But it was worth the wait. Flavors were very balanced and portions were large without being grotesque. All the ingredients were fresh and delicious. Do yourself a favor and go to this place. I'm sure everything he makes is awesome.

Very friendly and kind customer service! The pho is out of this world! I’ve had the seafood pho and it was fresh and very tasty and the shrimp are huge! A friend of mine has had their udon and highly recommends it! The restaurant is small but has lots of seating. I have been going here for a few weeks and stop by almost weekly. The restaurant always appears clean and organized. Oh and do yourself a favor and order their egg rolls!!! They are the best I’ve ever had. And prepare to wait for a bit! There is mainly one man running this show and everything is made fresh to order. It won’t take that long. Give the guy 20 minutes. And it is very worth the wait.

I found them! I miss Vietnamese egg rolls, but not anymore. I should have come here earlier, great place! Pho is next, but I had to know the egg rolls were good. Chinese egg rolls are doughy and tough, and the flavor is hidden by red sauce. Vietnamese egg rolls use rice paper, and even dipped in fish sauce they crunch when you bite. I took these to-go, they were very good. Clean, authentic, I'll be back!

Great, authentic Vietnamese restaurant! The owner said he has been in this location for the past 30 years, and I can see why! He definitely works his butt off and is passionate about his food. He is so passionate, that he also was our waiter AND the chef! After he took our orders, he went back into the kitchen and made the food himself. He is an extremely hard worker who deserves local support. Not to mention, the food was fantastic. It tasted very fresh, and I will definitely be returning to try more of their dishes. He also offered us free water bottles before we left! He was an extremely nice man, and very hospitable.

Amazing flavors. Please be patient as it is a one-man operation. He will take good care of you if you are dining in. Best Vermicelli i have tried. I recommend the crispy pork rice noodle bowl!

Absolutely fantastic Vietnamese spot, 15.99 for a large bowl? In today's economy? Also I simply can not recommend the fried spring rolls enough, 6 bucks for 2 roll might be too expensive at first glance, but the flavor is 100% worth it.
